I love this little album - it has all the enchantment and magic of Tolkien's "The Hobbit". The harp, bouzouki & other instruments, as well as the ethereal "elven" vocals that Skovbye uses are perfect for the evoking Rivendell & hobbit things! One criticism, the "action" pieces do not remind me of battles.

I heard some songs of this album for now and they have a certain style: acoustic guitars, background synths and percussion and all very laid back melodies with an feeling of easyness. This is appropriate for some of the "chapters" (going home), but not for those where intense music would reflect the story more. Therefore I give it a 3 until I heard all the songs.

Funny song. Feels like a fairytale for kids. Played well

There are some decent songs here, but most of them are too folksy and happy. For crying out loud, "The Battle" is a happy little tune. If you're into that kind of thing, then this is your Nirvana.

anything even remotely connected to the lord of the rings should get a five out of five!!

Lovely but calm and tender - quite a hobbit's song
