Beta: New radio player!

Beta: New radio player!

've been pretty busy during the weekend and spent around 20 hours building better and an updated radio player for you all! It's not finished yet and some things might not work properly, so I'll leave it in beta for a while before using it as default.

Tell me what you think and if there are troubles. Oh, and it doesn't work in Firefox just yet! :)

Try it here:

What's new?

  • You see your OWN ratings when logged in, you will see what you have rated and what not
  • Rate the last five played songs
  • Ability to reload "now playing" if it seems hung
  • Better brighter design
  • Server info on the current server you are tuned in to
  • Comment the current playing track

Report and discuss functionality here in the forum: Beta: New radio player!

It will absolutely be a smaller popup :) It will be popped up as like the old one when clicking the "Play radio" button. But I have no button like that now :) Just resize the window to simulate :)

I'm very excited about this! (Although I use Rhythmbox most of the time :)) The player looks very nice, and the new features are cool. By the way, I don't know if you are aware of this, but it doesn't work in Opera either. :(

Hehe, I haven't tested Opera yet. But as it doesn't work in Firefox there's definitely something amiss there. I thought I had it figured out, but I was mistaken :)
