My latest viking-themed composition! When I began writing this song, I had no idea where it would go. Originally, I was thinking of creating a song that sounded very tribal-like, something vikings would gather and dance to. I changed paths and aimed for something different, but you can still hear the tribal influence in the drums and throat singing.

I was inspired by Seiðr after reading about it in a book. I like to imagine a shaman standing by the shore, performing his ritual. That is why I included the throat singing in the beginning. Throat singing during rituals was a common practice for shamans from different era's. I felt it was appropriate and gave the song life.

Hello friends!

Here is my latest celtic song, "A Wanderer's Tale". I've been having a little bit of writer's block which is why I haven't uploaded a song in two months. Sorry! To break out of my writer's block, I searched the internet for inspiring pictures to get ideas. I found this one picture you see in the video and found it to be inspiring for a celtic song.

A Wanderer's Tale kind of has an emotional feeling to it. Or is it just me? Anyways, the song tells a story of a traveler. The song is being played by bards who are telling the story.

Originally, the song had no guitar. A Wanderer's Tale was only going to be a harp and flute but I felt the harp made the song sound too emotional, something I didn't want. It's not suppose to be a sad song. I replaced it with a guitar instead and it sounded perfect. Exactly what I wanted. ☺

Hello friends,

2016 is coming to an end. To celebrate the end of the year and the magic of the season, I decided to write a song to cherish it. Winter is my favourite season and I find a lot of inspiration in it. The cold and dark gives me a lot ideas.

Angels & Spirits is my first holiday/christmas song. I've never done one before but always wanted to. This season brought a lot of snow to where I live and I found inspiration in it.

The song is about the angels and spirits of the Christmas season. To me, the bells portray the sound of snow and the choirs portray the angels and spirits coming together as one.
