A painting I wanted to share done in Photoshop cs3

Started with a sketch

and 35 layers and 40 hours later....

The concept was The god Odin fighting atop a dragon in the amagedon scale war of Ragnarok in Vahalla

Kinda reminds me of Phil Foglio.

grey is an IT guy living outside Atlanta. He like gentle rains, long walks, and smacking spammers with a ban hammer. He also likes referring to himself in the third person.

Is that good or bad?

I suppose it depends on whether or not you like Phil Foglio. I read Girl Genius every week, so it's a positive on my side.

Do you have any good links to the artwork you speak of?

The stuff he did for D&D Magazine "back in the day", and maybe some of the "M:TG" artwork, was what I was thinking of, but you'll get the idea.
