Christopher Lee has passed away

Christopher Lee has passed away at the age of 93. He’ll be missed, especially for his role as Saruman. He has given us a lot of great characters over the years, such as Dracula, Saruman and Count Dooku in Star Wars. Rest in piece!

Rest in peace Mr. Lee. Not in pieces as Lord Elrond said lol! All joking aside, he was a great actor in some very famous movies, may his memory live on.

He's been one of my favourite actors for decades. I always hear his voice as Saruman when I read the LotR trilogy, starting as soon as I saw The Wicker Man and The Three Musketeers (both of which came out in 1973). How pleased I was to find he was cast as that character!

His passing should not be viewed with sadness. He led a full, long and rich life, bringing entertainment and enjoyment to millions. He leaves a legacy of films which will live on in time, as well as being a singer and an author.

In my view a life to be celebrated more than a passing to be mourned.....
