Radio server help wanted!

Hi all! I'm in need of some help and assistance on getting our radio back on the air. I have a new server ready, but have some trouble with getting the pieces together. I had an old server almost ready with Shoucast 2 (server + transcoder), but Nullsoft has discontinued their transcoder, so I'm nearly back to square one. Head over to the forums and help me out! :D

Please keep the mp3 stream as an option.

There are hardware players around that can't play new formats like opus. While browsers and phones can be updated to support new formats this often isn't possible for such devices.

At least icecast seems to support multiple stream formats at the same time.

The solution mentioned in this blog post is what I've been using the last few years:

The transcoder is just a Perl script using libshout and some other modules. It's a better solution than the old nullsoft one since you have more control and can tweak anything you like in the script.

@foobrew: or just use icecast straightaway

Hi, Lord Elrond. Did you manage to put on stream? Is it possible to listen at winamp?
