Can I use iTunes?

Yes, of course you can use iTunes! We're not currently listed in iTunes radio directory, but download/drag and drop our playlist file into iTunes to add it!

You say "Yes, of course you can use iTunes! We're not currently listed in iTunes radio directory, but download/drag and drop our playlist file into iTunes to add it!" You give no clues as to how to do that. I can find your playlist but I see nothing to grab onto to drag and drop.

I figured it out.

- Go to Listen > Playlists in other formats

- Copy the playlist (PLS) you want. I went with 128kbit (MP3) which is http://www.radiorivendell.com/page/playlists-in-other-formats/

- In iTunes (I have iTunes 11) go to File > Open Stream... and paste the PLS you copied. Click OK.

This will save your radio station to iTunes to listen whenever you want.

Whoops... the PLS above should read http://www.radiorivendell.com/playlist-128.pls

So I realize this was posted back in 2013 but I would like to know if there has been any success with getting Radio Rivendale to show up on Apple TV?

This should be a thing!

We haven't made any more attempts on getting us into Apple's directory. When I investigated it it looked tough. Their directory is manually created and I bet they get 100000 requests a day, and I guess they simply ignore everything. But I haven't actually tried, perhaps it could work :)
