The album "back to middle earth" was composed during 2001-2003 by Ophir Yerushalmy under the artist name "Elwing". The original album contained 21 music tracks inspired by the Lord of The Rings trilogy. It was first featured in (then very popular and now R.I.P) mp3.com music website and was very popular there. Many of the album's tracks are featured here on Radio Rivendell.

The theory part of Elwing's music is solid, but the instruments/synths need some serious upgrading. The low quality of the patches used in the songs really detract from the potential these songs have.

With only the one album to rate him, I know that Elwing can write good music, but often does not.
