Synth Bard's third soundtrack inspired by a classic Dungeons and Dragons adventure, "The Isle of Dread" is based upon David "Zeb" Cook and Tom Moldvay's 1981 Adventure Module of the same name.
Created with sampled percussion, field recordings, and a Roland JU-06A, the album attempts to capture the primordial atmosphere of the adventure.
Included with the album is a booklet with supplemental descriptions of each encounter in the original module, as well as appendices which assist in choosing the appropriate tracks for any roleplaying adventure.
