Anyone seen the new show "The Rings of Power" over at Amazon Prime? Any good? I've heard not so many great things 🤔

I have seen all the episodes so far, I like and don't like it, but in my opinion, nothing is perfect, I am just happy there's finally a show like this, to be honest. So I've decided to just try and enjoy it for what it is, it will never be exactly what everyone wants, that's just how it is. There's good and bad- but, honestly, in my opinion, it is pretty decent for what it is.

Yes, actually any venture in Tolkien's world is appreciated 😊 I'll see if I can view it, though I have too many streaming services already.

Ha, wow, what a find! I barely remember writing up one of those posts...but seems I was onto something with my concerns. I believe season 2 just ended.

I haven't watched it (yet), first I heard it was so-so, but then the same person I believe thought it was pretty okay at least. So perhaps it's picking up?

Heh, i barely remember any of the old posts , too! There is also some thread about Christopher Tolkien resigning. The archives are as old as the wolrd! We were here discussing the fate of Middle Earth that was unwinding before our eyes. Forums say there will likely be a season 3, too.
