Dark Dungeons

Ever seen that comic by Jack Chick warning against the dangers of role-playing games? Well, looks like someone attempted a faithful adaption. They even added to the original story: Now, the Cthulhu Mythos has a presence as well.

Personally, I think it's okay. I don't want to pick too much on it, as merely pulling off something like this is a feat in and of itself. It does have some hilarious moments (e.g. the "Are you ready to RPG?!" bit).

I laughed my arse off when I read the Jack Chick tract back in the day (always good for a laugh)! And I've watched the film by Zombie Orpheus Entertainment a few times, and enjoyed every bit of it!

Faithful adaptation, though, it most definitely is not! I get a special kick out of the fact that this blatant parody got a green light from the holders of the intellectual property. XD
