I don't know about you but when it starts snowing at the Radio Rivendell front page.... Ahhhhhh (sighs and scoots further in the blanket). I just want to stay inside, bake some cookies, read a thousand books, wear the flufiest socks , burn all the candles, make the potions, maybe some divination on the side... sorry, got carried away.
I have a whip of banning (+3magic) and I 'm not afraid to use it!
    *I am bluffing*

Haha, yes, it is a nice unique touch! I can't recall if it ever snowed in Rivendell, but the graphic certainly gives the feeling of sanctuary.

Not sure if it snowed in Rivendell in the books, but it must have? Here at least we enjoy the cosy feeling of winter 😀

It did not snow in Rivendell, iirc. It is protected by a great ring, just like Lórien. But... "Next day Frodo woke early, feeling refreshed and well. He walked along the terraces above the loud-flowing Bruinen and watched the pale, cool sun rise above the far mountains, and shine down, slanting through the thin silver mist; the dew upon the yellow leaves was glimmering, and the woven nets of gossamer twinkled on every bush. Sam walked beside him, saying nothing, but sniffing the air, and looking every now and again with wonder in his eyes at the great heights in the East. The snow was white upon their peaks." That is the beginning to "The Council of Elrond." And yes, I totally agree: Radio Rivendell + Christmas/ snow = magic 🤩

Now that's what I call a nice follow-up!
