(jejej) Though I STILL think you should have included the RR Compilation in the nominations for Fantasy Album of the Year. The composers did a fabulous job, as did Elrond & Waerloga that's true....... oh yes, in Fantasy Art designs....the image of WaterFall doesn't shown when click on small graphic here far away from this, thanks to Daimonion nomination on my graphic (waterfall), Sir Dan (jokes) Elrond, Wolffii, Darkavenger, Halfang, Polaris, Shaykola, Katheon and Maven for their patience (between others)

Isn't there any way of working it on an ip adress? So no-one can vote from the same ip addy?

Every time you use the internet you get a new ip-address. Thats the problem.

Yes, it's a problem with limiting the voting to members only. But I am hoping it would be an incentive to register and join us. Since you need to be a member to post in the forum, rate music, take part in competitions and such. But perhaps it's not worth it enough? You can do a thing where you save IP-numbers and check against these every time a vote is cast. The thing is that many offices share the same IP, sometimes your internet connection changes IP too. Though I think this would be alright, many sites us this method for voting and such. Some even lets you vote as many times you want. Hmm.. It's either or... We have a full year to decide till next time. We'll work something out

Maybe put a news item on the home page that a prize will be given to a someone randomly selected from the people who register and vote in the next 7 days. (Then do it again next week, too.) Prizes: CDs, elven dice?, any RR merchandise still floating around?

Q-Workshop has agreed to donate five elven dice kits for this, and I will put in a few Rivendell Compilations (both 1 and the spanking new 2!). Will drop that news tomorrow perhaps. Hopefully it'll boost it a bit.

On other thing that I have discovered when looking at my preliminary results is that it's hard to get votes for something you cannot easily listen to. Next year I will make more soundclips, not only from best song categories, but also soundtracks. The art section must also get more participation, we only had three entries But there the voting is pretty good. We should announce real prizes for the winners as well.. Perhaps even start finding nominees for 2008. I will need even more help for next year

Trophies are really pretty sweet. If I won a trophy, I would get my picture with it Haha, yes, perhaps we should get ourselves a bunch of trophies It would be cool. But shipping away 2 kilos of pure gold in the mail will be quite expensive. It will ruin my stamps budget for sure

The thing that takes time is to create the files and put it all up. I don't want full versions of highest quality. It would be too tough on my disk space plus people can download them and that's not the idea. But next year perhaps someone could help me out with the files? As I always say... we'll be bigger and better, next year, just you wait!
