I tend to use this when making my purchases: http://www.google.com/finance/converter
It's regularly updated so automatically will give you the latest exchange rate. Great for having open in a separate page when shopping on the continent.

Hi Elrond,
Is there any way that you could also include a monetary unit conversion for those of us who don't normally make use of the Euro? Having this conversion might make it more inviting for those who don't live in Europe to purchase the items. Thank you kindly!
Respectfully,
Me

Hi!
I hade some "fake" conversions up there earlier (just removed them when the xmas sale started). Perhaps I should put them back. The thing with a fixed conversion rate is that it isn't very accurate after a while Paypals new functionality can support multiple currencies, and I think this is something I will put into RR 2.0

Ahhhh...Good point, Sir.
Regionalization is a quietly important thing for many folks, I've found. Especially when it comes to making purchases. Not sure why, but I typically tend to be more inclined to purchase goods from web shops that give the impression of having a US presence (given I'm from the US). Aside from RR, I do not make purchases from vendors who are outside of the US. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Call me a buying snob, but the first thing I typically think of when I see a web shop is based in Europe is, "Crap, that's going to be a lot more expensive with VAT, etc. I wonder if I can find something locally where I won't have to ante-up for the extra taxes?"
It's probably something that's not do-able for the foreseeable future. But I figured I'd mention it.
Again, RR is the exception to the rule for me.
Thanks again Elrond!

Yes, I'm totally with you! I behave exactly the same. I did the mistake once and purchased the Holy Grail DVD from Amazon when it was released on a new DVD a few years back. It ended up costing me twice the amount And a couple of months later it could be picked up in Europe for less than half the original price I paid. Ahahah
I will look into multiple currencies and different taxes and stuff for non-EU buyers. Paypal's new purchase buttons support this a bit more. Something that will happen later on for us
