I like stuff ala Waerloga to be honest, but am always on the look for new stuff! when it comes to fantasy I do like a bit of a mixed bag so to speak, it can be anything from grand, epic and otherworldly, to something calmer and more melancholic but it depends on what mood I am looking for. I do enjoy roleplaying a lot so finding something that fits, is a huge thing for me, it brings so much joy and passion and drive to what I am doin, also whilst doing my art. Also, to me it matters not wether there are vocals involved, it varies.

Also moving this here because of the more appropriate topic:
My personal tastes tend toward epic fantasy when it comes to music. Like the genre itself, I love large, sweeping scores that tell a big story. I also like a little subtlety with melodies and harmonies mixed in, so it doesn't feel like the story/composer's personality is overwhelming the performance. I like variety in the movements and tempos. My taste in fantasy music is similar to my taste in fantasy literature and other media, though I often prefer grittiness and low fantasy over high fantasy. This may seem contradictory, but epic fantasy does not have to involve a maelstrom of magic...though it is often composed of large-scale worldbuilding. I enjoy the creative process, and composing epic music to me is very analogous to building a large story.
