I want to share with you that I have just finished reading Lost Chronicles and liked them very, not as much as the First trilogy, but I have to say that I love Dragonlance saga, the best D&D world so far in my opinion. Greetings!

I've only read half a dozen Dragonlance books, and I must say I find them very charming. Especially the first trilogy had a wonderful, wide-eyed naivete to them, much like the first rpg campaigns of one's youth. They're also very sincere; the game mechanics and pacing are there so strongly you can all but hear the dice!

You know, with some of the sober, world-weary stuff I've been reading lately, I could do with some wide-eyed naivete.

I devoured the DragonLance books in middle school. My aunt gave me hers cause I kept complaining about the 'hardcore fantasy" books everyone else my age was reading.

Well my friends, we are not alone.....as many love the Dragonlance world of Krynn. Unfortunately, the newest edition of D&D (5E) is not going to support Dragonlance, Greyhawk, Ravenloft or Dark Sun!!! These are the worlds that built D&D. Only Forgotten Realms will be promoted. Are you kidding??? I mean it's ok, yes some great characters and story lines, but to be the flagship....no, the ONLY SHIP in the D&D fleet of worlds to play in! Seriously?!?! I have always "Forgotten" Forgotten Realms.....never my fav and after this decision from Hasbro/WOTC will NEVER be my fav. Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now and sulk back into the shadows from whence I came................................
