So I guess this is the kind of book that a lot of Radio Rivendell listeners will fall in love with. There is a trailer music company out there called Two Steps From Hell, consisting of primarily the two composers Nick Phoenix and Thomas Bergersen. These guys have made a lot of action/epic/heroic music for several years, and most of their work is actually available on YouTube (search for "TwoStepsFromTheMusic", that's their YouTube channel's username). Nick Phoenix got this great idea that he wanted to get into writing books, so last year he finished a book titled "Colin Frake on Fire Mountain". The book is iTunes/iBooks-exclusive (we'll get to that in a bit), and is about a lowly 15-year-old who gets involved in an epic adventure in the realm of Reanne. You can download the book onto your device from here.

The reason I feel like this would be the perfect book for many of the listeners here, and the reason for it being iBooks-exclusive, is that the ebook contains audio content (and audio cannot be represented well on paper). Nick Phoenix has composed an entire album titled Colin Frake on Fire Mountain (also available on YouTube, as well as Spotify etc.) for the purpose of adding a soundtrack to the ebook. The book completely erases the line between written literature and soundtracks. And not only that, the music is literally a perfect match with the music played by Radio Rivendell. You can listen to the theme music here, or just enjoy the book. As you read, there will be playback buttons where you can play the embedded audio. The audio syncs up really well with the story, too.

If you're interested, here's a review I wrote of the book. I can strongly recommend purchasing this; you've got to be the perfect group of people to read it, and I don't think it will disappoint you!
