So I've just watched a program called Allt for Sverige on y-t , great show but what's the fascination with saffron pancakes? Doesn't sound appealing. And in another partly-related program called, America Unearthed - I learned the Narraganset stone was stolen, a 1.5 ton rock btw. In the Allt for Sverige show the winner was on Gotland and said "this looks like Newport" , maybe she should examine the Newport Tower , then watch America Unearthed where they explain the Cistercians and Templars from Gotland likely built Newport Tower It so much more fun and useful to watch TV programs on the internet where they become almost interactive, instead of just a show.

Saffron is a delicate and rather expensive spice. I make a chicken dish with it, and it's quite good. I've never tried it in pancakes. I guess I'll have to try that and report my results. Do they happen to give a recipe I can use?

I presume there must be a recipe online somewhere. Not being Scandinavian , I have no idea personally. I happened to see it on the yt programme.
