Ioanna! Where are you? I would like to have Helena trying to get on the same lifeboat with us.

The beginning of this rpg brings back fond memories of one text rpg I once played with my friend. Our characters were passangers on m/s Estonia and well.. we all probably know how that ended. It was awesome because my friend had made enormous amount of background work and she new all the details about why Estonia sank.

(For those who don't know, Estonia was a real ship that sunk in the Gulf of Finland in the early 1990's because the captain was a stupid git and thought he could get the ship in time to Stockholm in storm.)

It was, and I liked my character too. Sadly the game ended too soon.

I'm effectively passing on my next 'turn' as my character would wait for the order to jump and/or see what else is going on once the raft if open.

I am sorry Sermarkus but I don't quite understand how we can stumble in the boat since it isn't exactly a boat (check the picture I linked) and the boat is in the water so we would have to jump first (or at least it's going to be, I don't remember exactly what I wrote, that kind of life boats are in capsules and you have to open them first so that the boat can fill with air). At least this is how I see the situation. Of course you are the gm and you can do what ever you want. I'm just a bit confused that's all.

Ioanna, I think we are waiting for you to post something. If you're busy that's fine but it would be nice to know what you do before we jump.

Sorry if this changes things to drastically but i'm changing it to a different island. Its no longer a tropical island, most likely one near iceland or Norway. Again, sorry if it changes things to much.

Think it's too late for another person to hop in? Perhaps when ya'll get to the island? Had the small idea maybe they'd be someone who's already been on the island a while, assuming the island is survivable for a decent amount of time. Also wondering just how outlandish characters can be? Is this a human-only type thing? Or would other species be possible? Of course, limited to ones that would fit in with the story, that is. Also curious as to what presence magic has in all this, if it has any at all...? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get a feel of things and such~

By all means, if the gm agrees, hop in. I think it's totally possible that somebody's already on the island. Or you could be someone from the ship we haven't met yet. What ever you like.
