Best fantasy game soundtrack: I don't know. I'm not a gamer. But just to get your thoughts rolling, here're what some others have said are the best game soundtracks of 2006. 1. IGN.com selected Gothic III (Kai Rosenkranz), with runner's up The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Jeremy Soule), and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (Leon Willett). 2. Soundtrack.net says Call of Duty 3 (Joel Goldsmith); SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault (James Dooley); Prey (Jeremy Soule); BLACK (Chris Tilton); and SUN: Soul of the Ultimate Nation (Howard Shore). I don't know if any of those games are fantasy or not. What do you gamers think?

I also nominate the "Prey" soundtrack for the category Best Fantasy Game Soundtrack. Never played the game but the music is great.

Best song by unsigned artist: Lindsay Anne Klemm - Scrying for Arya (not sure about the time for this track, her site is down) Sorry to say, if you look at the ID tag of the song, it was composed in 2005.

Um, Elrond - wasn't Elder Scrolls: Oblivion done earlier? I was goning to nominate it myself, but could have sworn it was earlier than 2006.... According to Moby Games it was released 21st of March 2006 for PC and 23rd for the 360. So it should qualify, phew!

Best song by unsigned artist: Sean Beeson - Hovering Metropolis (not very fantasy in the title, but the track is awesome!) Sean Beeson - A Conspiring Night These are excellent! But were they composed in 2006 or 2007? Both were written in 2006, A Conspiring Night in October and Hovering Metropolis a month ago (right before Christmas). They were just added to my site about 2 weeks ago as that they were part of a demo for a company and I could not post them until I was declined the job

Can I nominate Erdenstern's Into the Red for best fantasy game soundtrack? It's not for a specific game, but for anyone wanting a role play soundtrack. I just enjoy all the tracks I've heard off that one. (Actually, I like Into the Green better, but it was 2005.)
