Count me in! At last I'll be able to listen to RR in my car

We're getting closer each day! We've soon collected all of the entries and all forms and agreements. I've been sketching on the cover, the first preliminary track order has been made and the factory has been contacted. We're getting there! You will be able to buy the CDs straight from the Radio Rivendell website but also smaller record stores around the globe! The price has not been set but we'll keep it rather low of course Good music for a good price!

My copy of A Tribute to Uglakh arrived today; if the RR album's half as good as that, I might have to have a lie down in a dark room after listening to it

The exchange rate to US$ isn't that good right now, making the CD + shipping close to US$25. Well, it looks like it hasn't varied much over the last few months. I could wait and save like 50cents, or I could wait and it will get worse. So, I guess I'll go ahead and get it.

OUCH!! 25 dollars? That is awfully expensive. Those darn taxes and stuff. I really hate that. It makes buying things from the States impossible. I bought a DVD from amazon, it ended up costing twice the original price. In a few months the same DVD showed up in Sweden för half the original price. Yay!

Almost makes one wish there were a unified global economy...almost.

Does anybody know whether or not some part of the CD sales will make its way back to RR? I assume the artists and other business entities involved do, but wonder if I would be supporting RR as well.

The deal with this CD is that 50% of the revenue will come back to Radio Rivendell. But we paid for the production so we'll have to sell a bunch in order to break even. But we'll hopefully do that some day

I'd buy it if it came in a shop near me, not online, would have to make paypall accounts or such things, I say : Meh, sweeter not. to those things.

You don't need a paypall account. You can order with payball without an acount.

My only problem is that 15 EUR is approximately 23.70 USD, and when you add in S&H (3 EUR, 4.75 USD), then it ends up costing somewhere between 1.6-2x the amount of a CD in the States.

This is sad. When I order on the waerloga special offer homepage all two RR - Compilations I have to pay 18? inclusive shipping costs. This is cheap.

Yeah, went to buy it last payday and noticed that. I bought both of Tincolindo's new CDs for less than what the new RR compilation will cost in US dollars. I'm going to keep an eye on the exchange rate and hopefully will be able to buy the new compilation soon.

Of course and i will buy it...there is no question about it.. but I wait also for the erdenstern new cd...
