We're running out of levels, at least for me who has maxed out on level 16 My idea is that leveling in the beginning should be quick and encouraging and higher levels should be harder to get to but give more power and awe to those who hold it Lvl 1. 0 – 49xp Lowlife Lvl 2. 50 – 99xp Beggar Lvl 3. 100 – 499xp Peasant Lvl 4. 500 – 999xp Resident Lvl 5. 1000 – 1499xp Townfolk Lvl 6. 1500 – 1999xp Citizen Lvl 7. 2000 – 2999xp Distinguished citizen Lvl 8. 3000 – 3999xp Guard Lvl 9. 4000 – 4999xp Officer Lvl 10. 5000 – 6499xp Herald Lvl 11. 6500 – 7999xp Noble Lvl 12. 8000 – 9499xp Wizard Lvl 13. 9500 – 10999xp Lord / Lady Lvl 14. 11000 – 12999xp Warlord / Shield maiden Lvl 15. 13000 – 16999xp Prince / Princess Lvl 16. 15000xp King / Queen Suggestions?

There is a little mistake here in lvl 16. You need to be above 17000 xp. Right?

We could sqeeze more profesions related to a palace between the Guard and the Officer. Or we could add, above the sixteenth lvl, more lvls that could be even harder to reach with even bigger gaps to fill between the lvs.

How about:

Lvl 17. Living Legend

Lvl 18. Demigod

Lvl 19. God

or we could do both...

Aaah, this is excellent! I think we'll have to do some graphical thing for making the "Page" title being more powerful than "Hero" which sounds much better in my pointy years. But this is just great!

Well, if it's possible to put stars under our names, each set of five levels can be half a star (did that on purpose actually). Thus anyone at MILITARY LEADER levels will have two stars under their name and anyone with KNIGHT levels will have two and a half stars. But yeah, this is just an offering. Feel free to sample what bits you like or make changes if necessary!

Yeah, we need some level indicators more than the name and level number. The higher level the more mighty your profile image should look

Wow!! And I thought we maxed out on lvls..... Great suggestion! Although the royalty lvls seem a bit of... In Rivendell I'm sure they didn't have so many different ranks of nobility. So many nobles to kiss the kings ...ahem... behind is purely a human trait.. hahhaaa I loved the legendary lvls though

Let's see if we can restructure what James started. Perhaps we can separate or reworks the profession levels? So you don't "restart you career" when you level up. I too love the legendary levels

I think there could be also later be levels associated with guilds, so you would also have XP associated with guild activity. Like, a first lvl member of Tinkerer's guild could be something like Scrapper, while a tenth level one could be "Technomancer'. There would be a guild level and a normal one, so one could be a Scrapper Overgod

I have built support for "roles" in my guild management system, so this is pretty possible. Not sure though who has to set these levels up at the moment. It would be best to leave this to the guild masters I guess

Yeah, I mearly adopted one of several royalty hierarchies. But with these sets, it's much easier to replace. I figure if we have different races to chose from in our profile in the future, there will be different kinds of nobles. We could instead use more generic terms like 'lesser noble', 'higher noble', 'lesser royalty'... I worked with things like 'guard' and 'wizard' to pay homage to the ranks you already had in place. If you are to have guilds, I can see one of the existing sets being used for it (and perhaps expanded upon). Even if some sets are removed/replaced, even 30-40 levels will still do wonders to the added growth one can achieve. I'm glad you like the system I suggested and even with imminent changes, I am still honoured that you would use the framework.

There will be some sort of levels within the guilds too. But these will be handled by the guild masters, just like in the old day where you started as a novice then through apprentice, etc. But I do love all of these

Here's the revised list. Also, as you wanted, it's now easier to go up the lower levels and takes quite a long time to reach the upper levels with the suggested experience totals. WIZARD and KNIGHT levels are gone, likely to be put to use in the guilds somehow. Also tweaked the military leaders so we could make room for the HERO levels. Hacked the ROYALY levels in half (not as many people to kiss up to the king now). And now we have a suggested 40 levels. Excellent! Now it's better since you don't restart and "change careers" I wonder how many will reach the god levels But it's a good thing that you always can reach new heights.

And people will be reaching for years to come. But you certainly won't have to worry about level-capping for quite a while! It would be a great joy to see this implemented in whole or in part. Never thought I'd use my game design experience this way though. Who knows, maybe someday I'll actually publish a game! XD
