Right now, the only games I play are RIFT, and Geneforge. I have played RIFT since original launch, and absolutely love it. Geneforge as others have said already, is absolutely amazing if you can get around the graphics. The story and gameplay make it completely worthwhile!

Posted by OrmeBe aware that GW2, despite the fact it's on PC, uses a console engine : all graphical computations are done at the CPU level, that game makes almost no use of 3d cards. You'll need a real Überkampfmaschine to play it.

Doesn't seem to bother my Mac Pro any, I use the osX beta version of GW2 which runs in a Transgaming layer atop the OS which chews even more CPU cycles than the standard windows game client. Still getting overall ~45fps at 1680x1050 with Vsync locked.

I recently found out that there's a very outrageous good mod for Morrowind, the overhaul mod (for those who aren't familiar with the elder scrolls, simply google pics 'Morrowind Overhaul'). A long time ago, I tried many times playing Morrowind but I always screwed up. With this mod, I wanted to give Morrowind another shot. And I didn't regret that! I've already played over 150 hours and the end is still far away. However, I have to admit that this game is a bit special and for sure not for everyone

I've been playing Battle For Middle Earth 2 for the last few days. Something about turn-based overworld conquest maps and base-building rts combined makes my Sting gleam all jolly like

Posted by VrapogatWho doesn't wait for the Wildstar ?! ...duh We all waited 'till forever for this game. Gosh !Come on Carbine, release this bloody thing already !!

Posted by EtherlordTo be honest I didn't even know what it is. I love space stuff, but I hate MMORPG and by looking on a gameplay on Youtube, it doesn't seem revolutionary enough to make me like it.

I ll be joining the open beta which shouldn't take long now. I hope it' ll live up to my expectations.

I have a whip of banning (+3magic) and I 'm not afraid to use it!

I've been watching Zybak on twitch.tv play this game for months now. If your expectations are WoW with more polish and a few new mechanics, dfferent time/space/creatures , then you're good to go.

But if you're like me, and the new minimum requirements should be Star Citizen , then maybe not.

Well I don't know, the races seemed intriguing and the paths. Also the fact that mobility is key to fights, jumping around is my hobby... hahahaa Also nomatter how many videos i watched I still want to try it, just for the fun. Nah... my minimum requirements is usually good company on skype and in game.... so maybe there is still a chance...

I recently got back into WoW and i'm actually having a lot of fun with it. Also playing Diablo III to prepare for RoS wich will release in 5 days ( on my birthday ^^ )

Other than that i've been looking for an RPG kinda like the first Fable game. Anyone got any good tips?

(DDO) Dungeons & Dragons Online - Thelanis Server - Main Character, Nohgrim, Dwarf - Guild: Nightmare NEStalgia - 8bit morpg (like NES style Dragon Warrior/Quest & FF meet multiplayer online gaming) have characters on Algol (pve) and Zenithia (pvp) too many to list here. However, having played thru SWtOR, Neverwinter, GW2 and testing for ESO among others.. I still find myself coming back to Dungeons & Dragons Online. It is the most immersive and complex mmorpg to date. Complete customization of characters with classes and racial bonus. There are some 'buy it now' options, but there is very few things available in the store (that affect gameplay), that you cannot unlock by simply playing the game for a while. I'll digress however as i don't want to sound like an advertisement. However I would like some more people to adventure with Cheers everyone, rAALph SiC

As much fun as I had (for free) on DDO, I'm going to take a slight exception to your review. As a free player, it's quite nice up until level 10. It's still decent up to level 14-16. After that, it becomes un-fun very quickly unless you're willing to pay for the extra content.

The level of customization in class and skill development is pretty amazing though. My sister played a halfling barbarian that was a Jump specialist. My highest level character was an elven bard with the arcane archer prestige class.

And this was my favorite joke:

**cleric in starting area reaches level 2 spells**: Where can I buy bull dung? **required spell component not sold in starting area**

**me answers**: Did you check in the DOODOO store?

You should play in our guild, we buy guest passes for guildies who do not own content (if theyre pretty active) - I didn't give Turbine any money until i had already bought Gianthold & 2 other modules (adventure packs), just from grinding favor on all the servers. Favor = Turbine store points. In no way am i even trying to argue, with your points, i agree to an extent (LOTS of BUY NOW to unlock early, but MOST things you can grind out with time & effort for free). However as of today, there is enough free content of all levels to get to level 20 without repeating quests much. I honestly feel there is too much xp to be had these days. But to make my point, the game is so good, that i felt it was a good investment to buy more adventures.. Just as we would by more adventure modules to play, if we were playing pen & paper. Tho that may just be my justification, albeit a good one But yes, if you DO NOT like grinding and crawling dungeons until you know them, then the game could get boring if you don't spend any money (or take the time to grind favor across servers). I feel the content is well worth the cost in contrast to a monthly subscription. I have played no other RECENT mmorpg that builds the comradery, and forces players to use their character's roles in nearly as many ways. It is, in my opinion, simply the most immersive & well written rpg's. I mean, Gary Gygax & Dave Arneson BOTH narrate their own modules!!!

There are actually two large expansions released for DDO.. but.. it is set in the Forgotten Realms and features some very notable characters from the lore. That was exciting to me, as i prefer the stylings of Forgotten Realms over that of Ebberon.

Although some negative things can be said about any form of having to pay to play. DDO is by far the most worthy mmorpg, of my loot. That's just my two coppers

and to answer to the joke... (kuz i'm such a nerd i thought about were a lvl 2 cleric could get reagents rather than to laugh) Feathers Fall Apothecary in House Jorasco, for divine spell reagents (u can leave the beginning area at any time after the initial tutorial quest)

EDIT: What happened to my beautiful paragraphs & spacing, that i typed in my reply!?!?!
