Yes, this is what I tried to do, like mentioning the translucency of the weapon and the (assumed) incorporeality of the opponent. Just added "ghost touch" as an info ... apparently, it was not a good idea since it's more like OOC

I hope I got the description of "aura of courage" a bit better, even though the name is still there... (couldn't really describe it any better than this very name)

Your depiction of the aura works perfectly.

It's quite a jump from rules-heavy games like D&D 3rd-4th edition to something so freeform, where there are no set rules to refer to, and all you have at your disposal is verbal description. Freeform downplays tactics and emphasizes mood - a good trade-off in my book.

Also, I'm going to apologize in advance for taking more than one action in my latest post - figured it's overdue and keeps to one combat action per post. Come on, he's a BG and a heavyweight one at that, so it's OK to have exceptional combat skills. Anyway, I've read it somewhere (maybe some link one of you guys provided about turn-based rpg in general) that it's ok to post up to three turns at once... though I'd still stay with the "one turn at a time" stuff, and that being said, I have to restrain myself from posting before Anatrium's and Nico's next turn.

By the way, you wrote the name in two forms: Anatruim and Anatrium. I can't decide which one I like better so I leave it to you to clarify

Wow, having re-read the last couple dozen entries, I've just realised that maybe Sallah shouldn't have heard the words of the Apparition. Thanks to my storytelling genius however, I made a feeble attempt at correcting this slip and actually I think I managed to roll my d20 well beyond the DC of this fast-talk skill check

Sorry for being away for so long; my presence will remain sporadic in the next couple of weeks but I'll try my best. To compensate a bit for being late, I tried to write a turn that helps Sallah's personality and secrets unfold to the public

I'll be glad to take part in any event occurring in the tavern, especially with you guys. Doyl, Sallah, and Nicodemus seem a rather friendly and colourful bunch. EDIT; I hope, at some point, the four of us could go on a quest to find Slime, or something similar.

I've been thinking about that myself. Unfortunately, Lasilintu and Surrano seem to have gone quiet, so it's down to us for the moment.

Could you give a bit more info on Culsu and Pazuzu? Specifically, what is Culsu trying to sever Doyl's arm with? A blade? Claws?
