the 70s -> Is pretty much correct (we actually got lectured in class for about twenty minutes on the 60's being mostly like the 50s for most of the decade. How this relates to medieval history is still beyond me. Then again, the expanse of the Bible Belt in Missouri doesn't have a whole lot to do with it either.
