Alright, we're a bit thin on these two categories: 2013 Best Fantasy TV or Film Soundtrack 2013 Best Song from a Fantasy Album or Soundtrack I can probably fill the "favorite song" category all by myself if it comes to that, but I'd rather have this be a community thing if we can manage it. Here are a few of the fantasy movies\shows that came out this year: Jack the Giant Slayer Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters Thor: THe Dark World Oz: The Great ans Powerful Epic Game of Thrones American Horror Story Merlin Once Upon A Time Lost Girl Being Human Supernatural Arrow Grimm Orphan Black S.H.I.E.L.D. I din't see or listen to any of them, so I'm throwing it out there to see if any of you were impressed with the soundtracks.

Finished out the Indi Composer and Best Track categories. Could truly use some help on the movie category - the only one I've seen all year is already on the list.

Yes, it's beta that went from closed to open recently. I don't know the rules of the conquest - the soundtrack was created in 2013 but the game will be released in 2014.

I'd suggest we go by other awards' policy -- use the release date. A film can be nominated for an award for best soundtrack, but if the soundtrack was written and recorded in 2013 but the film's release date is January 2014, it's up for the 2014 awards.

Then either publish date would work, as long as it's only nominated once.

Yeah, we'll keep it for consideration for next year's awards. It must be "available for all" in order to be in our nominations. Don't you think?

Yeah, I agree. I've gotten no new nominations for the two "thin" categories, "2013 Best Fantasy TV or Film Soundtrack" and "2013 Best Song from a Fantasy Album or Soundtrack". If it's that hard to think of anything, I'm going to assume it wasn't a strong category this year. What do you say we wrap up nominations and move final nominees and voting?

I say yes! If there aren't any great ones, then there's nothing to vote for! I say move towards the voting!
