Hello Radio Rivendell. My name is Ty, I am an independent composer.

I have been a listener of Radio Rivendell for sometime now, some of my songs have even been broadcasted here. I'm honoured to have my music played here. Currently, only three of my songs are on Radio Rivendell. Legends of Dragons, Once A Kingdom and Conquer New Lands. I do believe there will be another added soon, as I have been in contact with Lord Elrond.

I compose a variety of music. Fantasy, celtic, cinematic, dark, emotional and relaxing music is what I enjoy composing most. I share all my music on my YouTube channel, which you can visit here: http://www.youtube.com/user/tyberrymusic.

I've uploaded this song a little later than I had hope to, but nevertheless, here it is! My first song of 2016!

When it comes to music, you can't rush creativity.

I began composing A Land Far Away in 2014. For many months, it remained incomplete. I couldn't finish it. When I couldn't come up with new songs, I would try working on it, but time needed to take it's toll and, eventually, new ideas began coming. I have redone this song many times. This is the final version and I am very happy about it.

A Land Far Away is a relaxing fantasy song about the discovery of a hidden fantasy landscape. We see these kinds of places in our dreams, in books and in movies and I wanted a song to represent what I could see. A pathway leading to the most beautiful sight…

I feel like this would make a good background track in a fantasy film. What do you think? ☺

I want to thank Martina Stipan for letting me use her artwork! This art definitely portrays what I was imagining and it's perfect! I struggled a lot to find a good picture to use, but none did justice until I found this one. I also have it set as my wallpaper!

A Land Far Away was a challenge for me. It made me crazy for a long time, almost irritating me to the point where I questioned if it would ever be completed, but here it is! I hope you enjoy it! ☺
