It would be quite fantastic if he wanted to join in. But perhaps he is too well known and commercialised already I would kill for some unreleased tracks by Hans Zimmer or Howard Shore, but we cannot really afford to pay anything since this will be a low cost "fun-project-to-promote-unknown-artists-that-still-make-wonderful-fantasy-music"

Nice pic! The first CD doesn't have a theme yet. This first one will probably just be the first and not carry a specific theme. The coming ones probably will, IF we find enough songs

Of course, remember the boats in Lothlorien were shaped like swans, so they must have known what swans were. Beautiful shot. I think that one would make a lovely CD cover!

I do agree with you Maven, however I think the picture lacks some "fantasy". Not a lot of people would make this connection between the Lord of The Rings and the Lothlorien's swanboats. I would say retouching the picture to give it a fantasy feeling could, indeed, fit...But that would be hard. Hmm. Hard thing to decide, the one of the theme.

That's not swans. That's young dragons. Very fantasy. Teenage dragons, rebelling against their firebreathing parents by going skinnydipping in the evening sun. 'Haha, try and burn us now', laughed the teenage dragons to their parents as they dove beneath the surface of the sea. Never to be seen flying again. And that's how we got crocodiles

Don't worry, I also agree it lacks the fantasy feel, and I don't think it would look good as the cover. It's just another image to add to the collection really!

I'm working on all my images for a college photography project. I'm having a hard time selecting the right names for each piece however, in particular the swan shot. I was thinking about naming it Exultation, defined as a feeling of extreme joy or happiness, which I feel would be fitting to the image, as it links in with people's feelings of paradise. Or, I also thought A Lifetime of Moments would be a good name, with the swans resembling our feelings and thoughts passing by. What do you think is best? Or should I just name it both as in Exultation/A Lifetime of Moments. Hell, i'm in the mood to name it like that anyway!

Hey people! I have a late xmas present for you all! Guess what?! The first Radio Rivendell collection CD will be... grab on to something now... backed by a record company!! Waerloga Records (the ones who brought you another collection CD with numerous RR artists) will help us out this time. So it will be a factory pressed CD with 4-colour prints, booklet etc etc. It will also be shipped off to various journalists and countries. This will be great! Merry xmas and a happy new year to you all!
