O.K. Rivendell Residents who are on the fence about buying this CD - hop on over to Waerloga Records, click "Releases" and scan down the list for the Radio Rivendell CD. There are 3 song samples from the compilation and WOW are they impressive. If this is the caliber of the entire CD, it's a definite winner. Sean Beeson's "Voice of the Seraphim" is rich & gorgeous. You're a rising star, Sean, as your 2006 Radio Rivendell Award attests. I can't wait to hear your work in a major movie. Markus Holler's "Nebelmaerch" reminds me of elves, earthy yet ethereal, beautiful but sad. And of course, I think Helen Trevillion's "The Mermaid, Part I: The Storm" is one of her very best compositions. A complex story-arc of sailor, storm, and mermaid -- that won a Radio Rivendell award in 2005. Save up your lunch money and go buy this album!
