B000000NLD I just have this idea that the first part of that track (the full track) would be perfect for an intro. 'Welcome to Rivendell...'

So far: Tincolindo - Death of the Hero (not asked artist yet) I have to say my mouth dropped open when I saw my name up there - I feel VERY honoured, and of course you have my permission to use any of music!

I think themed CDs would be great, and for a mixed one: why not sorting your database for "best voted" and take the first 20 of one style, but not more than one song per album (f.e.: LotR takes the first 10 positions, then one the best one is on the CD). so you could have "best game soundtrack ever" and "best classic ever" and "best celtic ever" and so on. but if you make 20 different themed CDs, evertime with 100-200 pieces, then mayhap you should rent a depository^^

The thing is we cannot afford buying the rights for music such as LOTR We would have to pay perhaps at least a couple of $100 000 for it and have to sell millions of CDs This is not our intention We aim to spread the knowledge NEW music So I fear you won't hear any Howard Shore music on there, but all of you already own those soundtracks anyway!

Daimonion, first of all, welcome to this great group of friends and the best site on the internet! These photos are beautiful, Germany's Rivendell! Very peaceful and soothing. Again, Welcome, I have been AWOL here and there. medical issue, but keep checking in here and there. Love these!

Welcome to you too, Thalin! All your pics are beautiful too! The water reminds me of the falls of Rivendell. Will have to listen to the suggestion you posted for a track. I love Celtic music! So far everybody listed for the track will make it really great. Lord Elrond just might have to have a collection of Cds with tall this wonderful music Cd list growing bigger and bigger. Love everybody's view of Rivendell where they live.
