Gonir stands and bows back, to both Amelia and Parannos, pulling his hood back to reveal his jet black hair and pointed ears in the failing light. 'I know not of this bow, but the weapon I seek was not specified. It may well be a broadsword for all I know. I shall tend to these poor souls with you, and then continue with you on your way. You look like you need some help, as battle-hardened as you seem.'

Shadow comes back to his Mistres's shoulder still mumbling " Clumsy... Clumsy.." "I m Amelia and this is Shadow. We can use all the help we can get right now... but Shadow is very curious.. he will always have an eye on you..." says with a smile. "Good Lady you said? I do have a good Lady in mind. She is also old and when i needed some information she fel asleep... Isn t that right Parannos?" says and start picking a few more rocks.

"Twas not Lady Caitlyn of the Longbow, for she is still as radiant as the day she left her fathers care. She is still active in the defence of her estate, and when bandits come near they feel the bite of Sparrowthorn, her ageless bow." Gonir asserted. He inclines his head to Shadow, and walks a little ways away and begins collecting rocks.

Together finish the job faster, but soon will be dawn and are exhausted, seeking refuge among the ruins where you can rest while taking turns to stand guard, quickly falling into a restless sleep of abysses, black mountains and death, a gray morning wakes with you.

Parannos looked pretty haggard when woke up to take the last watch, but in the morning, having stared into a water-filled silver chalice for an hour underneath his mountain of furs, he looks so relaxed and cheerful as to annoy the more pessimistic sort of person. "I can't wait to get going again," he says during breakfast, "before I freeze solid. I must admit, this is not my favourite climate." Chuckling, he adds, "Before I set off for these parts, the closest I'd come to wilderness was an olive grove outside the city of Steeple. I could still see the top of Saint Rennaeus' Cathedral from there!"

Having taken the second watch in the deepest part of the night, he wakes well rested in his perch up a tree, using his bedroll as a pillow. He swings down from the bough, and lands on the ground heavily, still half in the waking dreams that pass for elven sleep. 'I don't really like cities' Gonir voices in reply. He sighs thinking about his life in the past. 'Sparrowglen was bordered mostly with forests, so I was always surrounded by the wilderness, even when I was at home. I prefer it this way I suppose.'

Amelia still lying with her back on a fallen stone wall and Shadow inside her brown fur vest... realising it's her turn to share some thoughts on the matter. "It's not the cities I dislike it's the people. Too manny people in one place are dangerous. That's why I prefer the cold North... not too many people around.." says and stands up straightening her red cloak and raising her long silver hair into a ponytail.

'We should move. There is no sense staying here among the dead. They should be left alone now they have left their bodies behind.' Gonir says, straightening his mottled dark green and black cloak over his studded leather armour. He pulls his hood over his face, the metal point shaped like an eagle's beak, as he downs the last of his breakfast.

Parannos adjusts his pack says to Gonir "We're headed for the ruins of Gleimhall. They should lie roughly north-east of here. Would you mind taking the lead - I'm fairly sure you're the most accomplished woodsman among us." He fiddles with his final strap, and once he has it sorted he looks at the others cheerfully and exclaims "Ready to go!"

'I shall take the lead, if you can keep up.' Gonir says, winking, and slings his pack over his back, making sure his quiver and arrows are secure. He sniffs the air, and lets loose a wolfish howl. He dashes off to the north-east, before the rest of the group have time to recover from the loud howl. He attempts to move so quickly that he runs on top of the snow.

"What a peculiar person... Shadow you keep an eye on him, he seems accident prone." Amelia says and smiles to Parannos. "Let's go then, but I am not running... just so you know." says and they are off to their way.

Gonir dosen't know the area of the ruins because it is located in a snow orcs territory. In the evening of the third day since leaving Gleindhall, have not run into any danger, no animal, nothing, but for safety you have traveled all you can by shelter of the forests until suddenly the tree line ends like cut by a giant sword, is a big promontory of rock, you just surround it and after a while you hear the screech of metal and come to a gorge. At the entrance several iron cages hung from above are, something is rotten in them, Shadow feels very tempted to eat something, the noise produced by the moving the cages is extremely annoying. You continue through the gorge until it opens into a depression of the most peculiar, as if the huge promontory had collapsed inward, although the correct term would be crushed. Deep in the depression about 30 meters all can see the ruins, snow covers almost everything but from his position the cut darkened ruins seem more strange than the surrounding rocks, overturned arches, high stone walls up side down, nothing of this makes sense. "What took you so long?" you listen on their backs, a huge yellow coat that is supported by a smooth also yellow staff with a hood that frames the face of the wizard Gwenaël.

At Gwenael's voice Parannos snaps out of his wide-eyed admiration of the ruins. He turns to the wizard with a smile and says, "Oh, taking in the sights," and, with a nod at Gonir, adds, "and making new friends. I trust your trip was swift and uneventful?" Parannos observes the wizard closely, trying to gauge his character.

Gonir moves to stand next to Parannos, and bows to the wizard, then scans the room for anything that could be dangerous.

"Well we it took as a good amount of time since we didn't use any magical means. Shadow, look who's here.." Amelia says as she moves towards Gwenael.

"Better that way, the siege is something horrendous, forever changes people ... who survives. Now we can continue what we came for. Some sources indicate that the Tower of the Hand was at the northernmost point of the city, but let's go exploring occasionally orcs come over here. " Gwenael glances at Shadow when it quacks "HERE HERE HERE" As soon Gwenael sets foot on the way down to the depression you all feel a strange sensation, hate, fear, confusion and finally sadness so deep so dense you can not move after a few seconds from the gray clouds of heaven sneaks a beam of sunlight that illuminates the ruins and your hearts relieving the feeling. "The magical energies that were released here there were more than amazing, despite the centuries can still feel its echoes" the magician says shakily, shall we continue?"

"Yes, I think that we should continue to move too." Gonir says, as he closes his eyes and shudders in response to the magical energies that pervade the air in the area. He puts his hand on the pommel of his rapier, which calms his nerves slightly.

"You can lead the way." Amelia says to Gwenael. Amelia and Shadow are in distress. Even for her it is difficult to grasp the amount for magical energy used centuries ago. It is almost like something happened yesterday there. Shadow flips his wings a bit and takes off. As they continue their way she tries to recollect her memories of the past few days. It has been a crazy crazy ride up till now.

As the wave of emotions hits, Parannos takes in a sharp breath, holds it for a few heartbeats, and lets it out in a slow cloud of mist as tears roll down his cheeks. Having regained his calm, he wipes his cheeks and peers down into the depression. "Strong emotions can keep the souls of the dead from resting," he says, "and they get cranky when denied their eternal sleep. Stay sharp, and keep an eye on the shadows! I'll see if I can sense them." "Armo," he chants quietly, his nimble fingers weaving an intricate pattern in the air, "grant me the clarity of vision to distinguish mere absence of light from true darkness." His spell complete, he heads downward, eyes sharp for any sign of an evil presence. He makes sure to glance at Gwenael while he's at it.
