I think it's time to turn site focus to these awards, as we ar now completely out of 2011. Can we post something in the center panel to get everyone making final nominations? I think we have a few categories for which there hasn't been much interest so we can probably pare this down to what we really care about after we get input from our other members.

Aah, yes! We (that's me then) shall try to get the voting and stuff going quicker this year! I'll post to all in the news section to get some buzz.

I think the fantasy game music nominations are sorely missing the gorgeous music from Trine 2. Also while Bastion technically is a magic fantasy, the music is not the medieval fantasy music found here. However I think it is my top game music soundtrack for the year even over Trine 2.

Indeed! I haven't heard Trine 2 yet, but I totally loved Trine (1) and Ari Pulkkinen together with Frozen Byte was kind enough to hand us the soundtrack! Without having heard Trine 2 (released in December 2011) I do believe it could be up for nomination

Yep, he is incredibly talented. Well worth spending a while to look at all his albums in Facebook. He has his first book out later this year featuring his art, which I can't wait to get a copy.
