A "strange" question perhaps... Would you agree to that all donation will be used to pay me not to work for my job and work for Rivendell? Since I work as a webdesigner in my own company I need money to pay rent, taxes and food, I need all the money I can get. So when donations reached a certain amount I will work a full day on Rivendell 2.0. Would you agree to donate some small amount to increase the development speed? Perhaps say that $200 will result in a full day's work (8 hours). I cannot say exactly how many hours remain to finish it though. But if I get dedicated time to work for Rivendell it will be finished sooner

Dang, will have to work out my budget to send something each month to help you out, Lord Elrond. I am sure there are many here that are going to help you out too. Can understand about the time you need. Just is not enough time in a day for anybody. So it looks like we need to pool our selves together and help.

I surely can probably help out a bit with that. You should perhaps think about a premium option...Say, 10$ each month per member and they get access to X amount of features (reserved slots, for exemple, special titles, a special page for them and the like). Many things could be thought of.

Yes, the premium member option will be present in RR 2.0 somehow. How much it will be will be dicided later. Reserved slots will not be a very easy task, so we'll probably skip that. Most probably premium content on the webpage, discount in the webshop, etc. Premium membership will also be possible to get by participating (i.e. voting, rating, forum participation, etc etc). Everyone should be able to give what they can and want, being it money, CDs, content, etc etc. Money can only be used to one level, then we need cool and fun stuff on the site

We knew you were working on this. No wonder web designing is not so easy, lots of factors to work in and out and all over the page! Love the colors!!!!

This look really good. I like the new colors and the design. Looks better than the current design, I think.

Love the new color scheme, looks very regal and refined (blue/gold is also my favorite color combo!). I'm taking a hard(er) look at my budget to see what I can free up for donating here -- this is a wonderful web resource as well as a terrific community and believe me, Lord Elrond, I know what it is do to it because you love it while realizing the bills still need to be paid. American dollars don't go as far as they once did, but I'll do my best....

I don't have much working-spirit since I've just come back from my summer vacation, BUT... that made me want to work on RR 2.0 What do you think? http://www.radiorivendell.com/images/mixed/rivendell_2_8.jpg Done this time: - Worked on the heading (adding a scroll and two new lanterns) - Finished (and hopefully settled for) the new logotype - Added real blue velvet drapes to the side bars - Made paper simpler, the other one was too tricky to loop vertically - Removed a bit of the heavy borders around the main text area
